Drove down to the south city to attend the annual CAPA event. Got to know some unknown Asian American history through the lens of firm slide projectors and many black and white family photos.

I found this website accidentally. I loved it. I subscribed to their daily email list and started to received the writer's almanac. Here is the poem I got this morning.
The Sun Has Burst the Sky

The sun has burst the sky
Because I love you
And the river its banks.
The sea laps the great rocks
Because I love you
And takes no heed of the moon dragging it away
And saying coldly 'Constancy is not for you'.
The blackbird fills the air
Because I love you
With springs and lawns and shadows falling on lawns.
The people walk in the street and laugh
I love you
And far down the river ships sound their hooters
Crazy with joy because I love you.
In the end of each email, they write: Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
And I loved it.
