Irish Pub and Chinese Dim Sum
This Friday night started as an uneventful dinner party in old friends' place and went on to a couple of beers in an Irish Pub (Great Music and people), ended up having early breakfast at 2am in a local dinner. I danced and danced and loved the whole night.
The tomoshibi group gethered in a local Chinese restaurant for a Shanghainese style Dim Sum this morning. It is a huge success and I am so happy to take credit for organizing it and so so happy to see these friends again. One bohemian friend will leave the town soon for his new job in DC, probably the world, one friend is looking forward to a hot date tonight, another one is thinking of going north for a study project this summer. While now, everyone is enjoying the conversation, food and each others' companies.
A perfect evening and a perfect morning. I am thinking when I am driving home with Lang Lang's music.
Took a nap this afternoon, pondered for a brief second whether to review the exam materials or take a walk in the forest park, met up a friend for a slow-paced walk in the park. It is amazingly breathtaking in the sunset, we chatted with a painter painting the reflection pond, watched people flying kytes and stopped at the boat house watching ducks.

My big fat Greek Families
The weather is too nice to be wasted at home. I had a 3-mile morning walk in the neighbourhood. Decided to go to the bowling party in the south county to hang out with international business program friends, and then the group drove to a small family run Greek restaurant. If you have watched the "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", you would feel you step right into the movie, a Greek families' dinner room. Three generations work in the place and treat customers like friends and neighbours. The Grandma has the absolute authority in the family, don't try to argue with her. I love her English with strong greek accent and her confidence and passion for the business.. Tried the Greek beer, it is ok, but the place is so cozy and I have good companies, what more can I ask for .

To my surprise, my new haircut has become the top topic these days, up to today, 90% of the feedback is negative.

An Amatuer Painting Party
One Trivia Night and One Painting Party summarized my weekend. This is my first Trivia experience and our table ended up in the middle but everybody are having fun and feeling good about the giving.
The painting party turns out to be amazing and load of fun. It is energy burning and relaxing at the same time. Do it with close friends makes the whole processing enjoyable. Of course, the Godiva Coffee and chocolate delights are there to help.
We were having a ball in a happy colorful house and finished with a vietnamese late night dinner in Little Saigon.

Dream House
I am late again for my dream house. It is a cozy cape cod style two story in a nice neighbourhood. But someone got it before I wanted to bid on it. Tons of sunlight in every rooms and homy.
算了吧。 像安說的:就一直微笑吧。

Wolf Howl

Campfire
Our Anti-Mardi Gras Night was spent in the hills of Eureka listening to the wolf howl. I never experienced the real wolf howl before, so listening to that in the darkness is an interesting thing to me and I love the campfire, always.
The house party afterwards is fun, silly jokes and games on and on. Oh, it is not in New Orleans, but it is a nice Margi Gras night for me.
